Poco has officially launched the POCO M3 Pro 5G globally. The new budget 5G smartphone from POCO is more or less a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G. The phone arrives with a high-refresh-rate panel, a 5G MediaTek chipset, a sizeable battery, and a triple camera setup. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. The smartphone comes in two storage options – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The Poco M3 Pro 5G’s price is set at EUR 179 (roughly Rs 16,000) for the 4GB/64GB model, while the 6GB/128GB variant will set you back EUR 199 (roughly Rs 17,750). However, Poco has announced early bird prices of EUR 159 (4GB/64) and EUR 179 (6GB/128GB). The early bird pricing is valid till May 26.
POCO M3 Pro 5G Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.5-inch (1080 × 2400 pixels) FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display has a hole-punch notch on top of the front camera. The device runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 for POCO out of the box.
Under the hood, the phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 5G smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR Blaster, NFC, and Hi-Res audio.
The POCO M3 Pro has triple cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth unit, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. The handset has an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, dual-band 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The device weighs 190 grams.
