POCO India teased the POCO F3 GT launch back in May and revealed that it will launch sometime in Q3 in the country. The upcoming POCO F3 GT will be the second handset under the POCO F series. Now, a new report by 91mobiles suggests that the POCO F3 GT will launch in early August in India. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. In other news, the smartphone has received its BIS certification as well. This definitely does hint at an imminent launch of the device in the country. POCO F3 GT Price (Expected)
Right now nothing has been revealed about the price of the Poco F3 GT, we can make an assumption based on the price of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. The Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition price is set at RMB 1,999. This converts to roughly Rs. 23,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.
POCO F3 GT Specifications (Expected)
The POCO F3 GT features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel also features a punch-hole notch and is also HDR10+ certified. Under-the-hood, it is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, built on a 6nm fabrication process. The handset also comes with vapor cooling tech for better thermal management, and runs Android 11, with MIUI 12.5 on top.
In terms of camera, The phone is expected to have a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor, coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The phone has a large 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. For audio, there are two stereo speakers: Sound by JBL, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res certified.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. It may come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
