PUBG Rival Fortnite got banned from both google play store and apple app store for violating their terms and conditions. Recently Fortnite added their own in-app payment method which was against the policy of apple and google play store. In return, Fortnite got banned from both the platforms.
Interestingly, Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Google and apple over alleged antitrust violations just after seeing Fortnite banned from app stores. Epic Games also attacked Apple on social media, launching a campaign with the hashtag #FreeFortnite, urging players to seek refunds from Apple if they lose access to the game, and creating a parody of Apple’s famous “1984” television ad.
In the video Fortnite saying “Epic Games has defied the App store monopoly. In retaliation, Apple is blocking Fortnite from a billion devices. Join the fight to stop 2020 from becoming “1984”.
Apple and Google both cuts 15 to 30 percent for in-app subscription and payment. Developer gets only 70 percent revenue generated from both the platform. According to sources, we found the games are the biggest contributor to spend inside the google play store and app store.
In a statement, Apple said Fortnite had been removed because Epic had launched the payment feature with the “express intent of violating the App Store guidelines” after having had apps in the store for a decade.

Google also Removed Fortnite from Google Play Store, However, Google still not responded to a request for a comment on the lawsuit. Google Spokesperson Dan Jackson said in a statement “We welcome the opportunity to continue our discussions with Epic and bring Fortnite back to Google Play”. Dan also said that Fortnite violated Google’s rule by not following the in-app billing system for products within video games.
