Mi Band 6 has finally been launched in India, a good few months after it was unveiled as Mi Smart Band 6 in the brand’s home country China. The new fitness band is the successor to the Mi Smart Band 5 that the Chinese company introduced last year. The Mi Smart Band 6 carries a bigger AMOLED touch display that is around 50 percent more screen than its predecessor. The Mi smart band 6 features a large 1.56-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The pill-shaped screen has a 326 PPI and comes with support for over 80 band displays.

It features 30 fitness modes like PPG heart rate sensor, sleeps tracking menstrual cycle tracking, SpO2 tracking, PAI vitality index assessment, idle alerts, step counter, goal setting, breathing exercises, and auto-detection for 6 common fitness activities. It offers other features such as 80 watch faces, app alerts, notifications for calls/messages, music control, find my phone, and a camera remote shutter.

The Mi smart band 6 is claimed to offer up to 14 days of battery on a single charge. The Band 6 comes with a 125 mAh battery, which can be charged within two hours. Xiaomi claims that the smart band can offer up to five days of battery life with heavy use. Furthermore, the battery can last for up to 19 days in power-saving mode. It has a 5ATM rating for water resistance.

The Mi Smart Band 6 comes with Bluetooth v5.0 (BLE) connectivity and supports both Android and iOS devices. Besides, the band measures 47.4×18.6×12.7mm and weighs 12.8 grams.
