Samsung has today launched a new variant of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with 256GB of storage. The company recently launched a 128GB variant of Galaxy S20 FE at Rs 49,999. The company will start taking pre-booking of S20 FE (8GB+256GB) in Cloud Navy colour from tomorrow, October 17 via Samsung.com and leading online and offline retail stores in the country. Samsung notes that the deliveries for the new variant will start on October 28. To recall, Samsung had launched the 4G variant with Exynos 990 SoC in the country, while it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and 5G connectivity in some regions. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE runs on One UI 2.0, based on Android 10. It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy S20 FE is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.
The display houses an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with a punch-hole notch, which the company calls Infinity-O notch. Under-the-hood it packs an octa-core Samsung Exynos 990 processor which is built on the 7nm EUV fabrication process. It packs ARM Mali-G77 GPU, and up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The latest Samsung device looks similar to the original Galaxy S20 flagship phone and offers a haze finish.
The rear camera configuration includes a triple-lens setup. It has a 12-megapixel primary wide-angle lens with OIS. As a standard, the second lens is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and the third module is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom that also has OIS. For videos, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition can record at a resolution of up to 4K. In India, the device comes powered by Exynos 990 chipset.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with up to 256GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card. Sensors on the Galaxy S20 FE include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, and a proximity sensor. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and wireless charging.
The smartphone features a stereo speaker setup tuned by AKG and surrounds sound with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. The smartphone weighs just 190grams and is 8.4mm in thickness. The smartphone features IP68 water and dust resistant rating.

The company has priced the 256GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE at Rs 53,999. The smartphone comes in the Cloud Navy colour option. The device will be available for purchase starting October 17. The customers can buy the online from Samsung.com, Amazon, and Flipkart and offline on all the authorized retail stores. As part of the launch offer the customers can also avail of cashback of Rs 4,000 on HDFC Bank cards and vouchers of Rs 4,000 on Samsung e-store.
