iQOO has launched its new mid-range smartphone in India. The iQOO Z5 is the company’s latest 5G smartphone. It comes as a successor to the Z3 5G launched earlier this year in India. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and has a hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera. iQOO Z5 is priced at INR 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and the top 12GB + 256GB handset will cost INR 26,999. Both the models will hit the market shelves from October 3 through iQOO.com and Amazon i.e. during the Great Indian Festival sale.

iQOO Z5 features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) LCD display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR 10 support. It comes with features like DC dimming technology, HDR support, etc. The screen has up to 650 nits brightness.
Under the hood, the Z5 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. The 6nm processor is paired with an Adreno 642L GPU and up to 12GB of RAM. iQOO has packed a VC cooling system for better thermal management which is claimed to bring down the device’s temperature by up to 12-degrees.
The iQOO Z5 sports a triple-lens camera setup at the back that features a 64-megapixel main sensor with AutoFocus, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel lens for macro shots. At the front is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The handset measures 163.95×75.30×8.49mm and weighs 193.15 grams. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features stereo speakers.
