The Infinix Zero 8i smartphone will launch in India on December 3, as per the official announcement made public on 25th November. “Launch date postponed from December 2 to December 3. We regret the inconvenience,” the company in the Facebook post said. The listing also confirmed that the smartphone will be up for grabs in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. “Come Back Tomorrow to Know More,” reads the bottom of the microsite. This means that the company will daily lose some information about the upcoming Infinix smartphone.
Infinix Zero 8i Features
The Infinix Zero 8i features a 6.85-inch full HD+ IPS display that comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The front side of the screen comes with a hole-punch cutout design, which houses the selfie camera.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC; moreover, the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which could be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card. It runs on Android 10 with XOS 7.

On the optics, the Infinix Zero 8i offers a quad-camera setup at the back with the combination of a 48-megapixel AI primary camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 2-megapixel depth sensor +AI lens along with Quad-LED Flash. On the selfie front, the smartphone houses a dual-camera sensor with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, that sits underneath the punch-hole camera cutout design.
The Infinix Zero 8i has a 4,500 mAh battery under the hood with 33W fast charge support which the company claims is capable of charging it to 70 percent in 30 minutes.
Infinix Zero 8i Expected Price
The company is yet to reveal the price of the upcoming smartphone but the Zero 8i was already launched in the Pakistani smartphone market with a price point of PKR 34,999 (approx Rs 15,620) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. We can expect the smartphone in the same range in India as well.
