Nokia G10 and C01 Plus smartphones launched in India: Price, Specs

Nokia G10 and Nokia C01 Plus smartphones have been launched in India. The Nokia G10 is positioned lower than the Nokia G20, which was unveiled in July. It offers key features such as a large display, 13-megapixel triple rear cameras, and a huge battery. The Nokia C01 Plus is an entry-level smartphone and the most affordable C-series handset from the brand. It runs Android 11 (Go edition) OS. Nokia C01 Plus, Nokia G10 Price In India

Nokia C01 Plus price has been set at Rs. 5,999 for the single 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model in India. It will be available via Nokia.com, e-commerce platforms including Amazon, and major offline retail stores across the country. The phone is available in Blue and Purple colour options.

The Nokia G10 costs Rs 12,149 and it comes in Night and Dusk colour variants. The smartphone is already available for purchase on Nokia India’s website.

Nokia C01 Plus Specifications

The Nokia C01 Plus features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1,440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a polycarbonate body with an inner metal alloy chassis. The phone has 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of storage that is expandable (up to 128GB) via a microSD card.

The C01 Plus is powered under the hood by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC, which is supported by the IMG8322 GPU. On the software side, this cheap offer from Nokia runs with Android 11 (Go Edition).  It has a 5MP front camera, and its rear shell also features a 5-megapixel camera. The front, as well as rear cameras, are assisted by a dedicated LED flash.

The device is packed with a 3,000mAh battery that supports 5W charging. It offers other features such as Android 11 (Go edition), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Nokia G10 features a 6.52-inch HD+ V-notch display with 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. On the inside, it has a MediaTek Helio G25 2GHz Octa-Core SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This is accompanied by a 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage with support for expandable memory up to 512GB via microSD.

In the optics department, the G10 sports a triple-camera setup that consists of a 13MP primary main camera. The 13MP sensor is accompanied by a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units.

Connectivity options on the Nokia G10 include Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, GPS, NFC, 3.5mmm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Sensors on board include an accelerometer (g-sensor), ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The handset has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button as well. Nokia G10 is backed by a 5,050mAh battery.
