Nokia G21 Launched With Unisoc T606 SoC, 90Hz Display; Price, Specifications

HMD Global has launched a new smartphone under the Nokia G21 branding, in select markets. Nokia G21 has launched as a sequel to last year’s Nokia G20. The front side of the G21 is equipped with a waterdrop notch screen like its predecessor. The phone is also reported to arrive in India, later this month. The Nokia G21 costs €170 and comes in two colours: Nordic Blue and Dusk. The handset, however, is listed for RUB 15,999 (approximately Rs. 15,600) on the Russian e-commerce portal DNS in a single 4GB + 64GB storage option. The phone is also reported to arrive in India, later this month.

The Nokia G21 sports activities a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD show with a display screen decision of 1,600×720 pixels, a 90Hz refresh fee, a 20:9 facet ratio, and a pixel density of 269ppi. Under the hood, the Nokia G21 is powered by a 12 nm-based octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC that has two Cortex-A75 cores and six A55 cores. The phone is available with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

In terms of camera, the Nokia G21 features a 50MP primary camera, two 2-megapixel cameras, and an LED light make up the triple back camera arrangement. It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats on the device’s front.

There’s a 5,050 mAh battery with support for 18W charging. The Nokia G21 comes preloaded with Android 11 and features a fingerprint sensor in addition to a devoted button for Google Assistant.

For Connectivity it will have include Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, NPS, USB Type-C connector, and 3.5mm headphone socket. An accelerometer, proximity sensor, and light sensor are among the sensors onboard.
