Realme is working on a new smartphone under its Q series. Conveniently dubbed as Realme Q2, the handset has made multiple appearances on the web ahead of the official launch on October 13. Now, Realme Q2 has made another appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website, revealing some of the specifications of the phone.
The Realme Q2 series is said to consist of two smartphones – Realme Q2 and Realme Q2 Pro. The Pro version is said to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage. Both devices are tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor and are expected to come with Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. We have spotted a Realme device on the Geekbench database website, which could very well belong to the Realme Q2. Take a look.
We have known as much at least since the end of September, with today bringing official confirmation of a Chinese launch event on Weibo. The event will be held on October 13 at 10 AM (2 AM UTC).

As seen in the Geekbench database, Realme Q2 series smartphone (with model number Realme RMX2117) has managed to pull off 2,879 in the single-core test and 8,123 in the multi-core test.
The Geekbench listing confirms that the device will be powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. There may, however, be more RAM variants of the device as well. Lastly, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Realme Q2 series phone will boot Android 10 OS out of the box.
The Realme Q2 is said to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Both devices are tipped to feature a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Realme Q2 has come with a triple camera setup, which will likely be a combination of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors.
In terms of security, the device has a Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanner and face-unlock as well. The Realme Q2 might pack a 5,000mAh battery.
For now, this is pretty much all the details that we have surrounding the upcoming Q2 series smartphones, but since the launch date is not too far from now, we can expect to learn more about the devices in the coming days.
