Tecno announced the Spark 8 smartphone by the end of August in Nigeria. Today, the company unveiled the Spark 8 in India. As compared to predecessor Spark 7, the newly announced Spark 8 offers a better rear camera and improved design. The smartphone offers a waterdrop notch at the top, while the chin bezel is expectedly thick. The volume and power buttons are to the right, while the fingerprint sensor is on the rear. The Tecno Spark 8 offers a 5,000mAh battery that is smaller in capacity than the 6,000mAh battery in the Tecno Spark 7. Tecno Spark 8: Price and Availability
Tecno Spark 8 price in India has been set at Rs. 7,999 for the lone 2GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan colours and will go on sale through retail stores starting Wednesday, September 15.

The Tecno Spark 8 has a 6.52-inch IPS panel with a teardrop notch design and a slightly thick chin. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The MediaTek Helio A25 chipset is present under the hood of the device.
The Tecno Spark 8 comes with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.8 lens and an AI lens with an f/2.0 aperture, coupled with a quad-LED flash. The rear camera setup supports features such as AI Beauty, Smile Shot, AI Portrait, HDR, AR Shot, Filters, Time-lapse, Panorama, and Slow Motion.
For connectivity, the phone includes, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Tecno packs a 5000mAh battery on its Spark 8 smartphone that supports 10W fast charging.
