To celebrate Diwali, Apple has announced that it will offer shoppers in India a free pair of AirPods when they buy an iPhone 11 smartphone. The deal will kick off on October 17, Apple says. Specific details about the promotion are unclear, including specific details on eligible AirPods models.
Notably, this deal comes less than a month after Apple officially launched its online Apple Store in India. Until last month, shoppers in India had to rely on a network of third-party resellers to buy Apple products.
While this offer only applies to Apple India’s online store other retailers are also offering massive discounts in the wake of the festive season. Amazon has listed the iPhone 11 at Rs. 49,999, available from October 17, during its Great Indian Festival Sale.
The phone is currently priced at Rs. 68,300 for the 64GB variant on Apple India’s online store, and at Rs. 61,990 on Amazon India. These price discounts offered by the Apple online store as well as Amazon for the festive season seem to be great deals, and those looking to purchase the iPhone 11 in the near future should consider buying the product now.
It is likely the AirPods offer will also apply to purchases of the iPhone 11 Pro lineup, though this has yet to be confirmed. Apple launched its online store for India on September 23, as part of its efforts to enter the burgeoning Indian market.
Apple still promises to provide all the latest features that come adorn with iOS, these deals seem perfect for those who are looking forward to buying a brand-new Apple device.
