A new version of the Tecno Spark 8 smartphone has been launched in India. The new smartphone is a slightly overhauled version of the Spark 8 that arrived in India in September. On November 10, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer unveiled the 3GB RAM with a 32GB onboard storage variant in the country. The new Spark 8 has more RAM and a different chipset than the previous model. Let’s have a look at the new Tecno Spark 8 smartphone’s price, specs, and features.
Tecno Spark 8 Price in India
The Tecno Spark 8 3GB+32GB option costs Rs 9,299 and will be available in India through retail stores. The smartphone comes in three colour combinations: Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, and Iris Purple. The 2GB+64GB variant with MediaTek Helio A25 SoC costs Rs 7,999 on Amazon.
Tecno Spark 8 Specifications
The Tecno Spark 8 comes with the same 6.56-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch as the original variant. The device is powered by an Helio G25 processor instead of Helio A25 which is present on the model launched in September.
To the back the phone sports a 16MP dual camera setup and on the front, you get an 8MP front camera with dual flash. It also comes with additional features like AI Beauty, Smile Shot, AI portrait, HDR, AR Shot, filters, time-lapse, panorama, slow motion, video bokeh, and more.
The latest offering also packs a higher 3GB RAM but lesser 32GB internal storage expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. The Tecno Spark 8 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery cell and runs on Android 11 OS with HiOS 7.6 on the top.
Connectivity options on the Tecno Spark 8 include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi. Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
