OnePlus launched the 9RT earlier this year in China. The company did not launch the T variants of its premium models but upgraded the 9R for the Chinese market. According to a report from 91mobiles in collaboration with reliable leaker Ishan Agarwal, OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus 9RT in India next month.
OnePlus 9RT India Launch Date Rumor
According to recent rumors, OnePlus is aiming to release the OnePlus 9RT in India sometime in December. Now, reputable tipster Max Jambor suggests that the company will launch the device on December 16 in the country. Jambor retweeted the tweet of Ishan Agarwal but also added “16th it is” along with an India flag emoji, essentially confirming the launch date.

OnePlus 9RT: Key Specs and Features
The OnePlus 9RT India variant is likely to pack the exact same specifications found on the Chinese variant. It will pack a Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is also found on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The device is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
The device sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED panel with 1300 nits of peak brightness. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 600Hz touch sampling rate. On the back, the phone has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 16MP ultrawide camera. There is also a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout.
As for the Indian pricing of the OnePlus 9RT, there is no information as of now. The device launched at a starting price of CNY 3,299 (~Rs 38,426) in China. So, we expect it to be priced close to Rs 40,000 in India. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days.
