Redmi 10A was launched in India on Wednesday as the latest affordable smartphone by Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi. The new Redmi phone is the successor to the Redmi 9A, which debuted in the country in 2020. The Redmi 10A comes with a MediaTek processor, a large battery, which is said to last for 2 days, and a single rear camera. Let’s take a look at the Redmi 10A specifications and pricing in detail.
Redmi 10A Pricing and Availability
Redmi 10A price in India starts at Rs. 8,499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The phone also comes in a 4GB + 64GB version that is priced at Rs. 9,499. The Redmi 10A will be available for purchase in the country through the Xiaomi website and official stores from April 26 at 12 noon. The colour options include Blue, Silver, and Black.

The Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with 400nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop style notch. The phone draws power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with a clock speed of up to 2GHz along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The handset runs on MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11. The phone comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Redmi 10A has a 13MP primary camera on the back with an LED flash unit. While the camera module appears to have four snappers, there’s only a single shooter on the back. The Redmi 10A has a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.2 lens.
The phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery, which is rated to last up to 2 days on a single charge. The device comes with a Type-C port and supports 10W charging as well.
Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, 9mm thickness, 194-gram weight, and Bluetooth 5.0.
